This column is dedicated to looking at our lives through the light spirited, rose coloured glasses I have come to affectionately know as “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne If you haven’t already read this book or watched the DVD, then I am hoping this column will inspire you to do as you just never know how it might impact and change your life....here we go.... Each week we will look at a different selection of quotes and text from this powerful book to try to insight a bit of a riot in your mind and realize that you too can have the life of your dreams, will a little work and change of position.

It will feed you. It will clothe you. It will guide you, protect you, direct you, sustain your very existence. If you let it. Now all you have to do is believe it too!

Believe that within you lies the power to do absolutely anything your mind can conceive of doing.

Believe that when you think and truly believe, you can make something so, and hold fast to that belief like there is no tomorrow.

But can you let it?

Can you let the force of the Universe into your life in such a capacity that you give over the process and trust in its’ outcome?  Because that is what it takes...no more control for you!

Can you believe and trust that the Universe unfolds exactly the way that it should and then just...... let go?

Can I tell you, without sounding like some kind of California New Age Fruit Cake, that the moment you put your new thoughts out there and truly believe in them with all your heart, can actually see yourself in the reality that includes those thoughts and beliefs, and then you let it go....that the path will open up before you, the answers will be there, and you will know, deep within your soul the actions you need to take.

Start 2009 with two feet firmly planted in belief, and then let it all go....believe and let go...make that your New Year’s Resolution!

I cannot add much to a quote that is as powerful as Michael’s except to say again and again...believe and let go....open yourself to a new way of thinking and believe and let go...the peace you will feel in your life will be like nothing you have experienced before...the joy you will feel in your heart will spill over in great abundance...the love you will have to give will know no bounds...believe and let go, and trust that the Universe is unfolding exactly the way that it should.
